The Big Idea
What

There’s no such thing as business as usual anymore. Big companies want to innovate like the small guys. Startups want to succeed like the big guys. Wouldn’t it be great if they all got together in the same room to share ideas?

That’s the idea behind Thinc Iowa. Our goal is to motivate people to explore new ways of doing business, challenge them to think differently, and give them a place to network outside their normal circle.

Why

Need inspiration? This is the place. You’ll hear from corporate powerhouses and innovative entrepreneurs who are getting it right in today’s economy. If you’re ready to drive change from the inside out, Thinc Iowa is for you.

Corporate attendees will connect with startups that are developing game-changing ideas. Startups will connect with companies that understand how to successfully position and sell a product or service. Everyone wins.

Thinc Iowa is for businesses of all sizes, including corporations, entrepreneurs and nonprofits. From sales and marketing professionals to interactive developers to startup founders and company CEOs — we invite you to come explore where we’re going and how to lead the way.

Need To Know
The conference will take place at the Temple for Performing Arts in downtown Des Moines. Once marked as one of the “most endangered” historic buildings by the National Historical Register, the Temple was given new life with extensive renovations, completed in October of 2002.

Today, the Temple is a state-of-the-art performance venue in Des Moines’ Western Gateway, within walking distance of the Pappajohn Sculpture Park and a wide range of locally owned restaurants and bars.
The event will include a Thursday night opening party, a full day of keynotes on Friday, plus an unforgettable closing party. Look for the release of the full schedule, which will include all speaker times, in late September.
